A major breakthrough was achieved in the investigation of the firing case going on under the jurisdiction of Pune Police
Pune: Police have solved the enigmatic shooting case and detained two people, including the victim’s cousin, in a significant development in the ongoing investigation of a gunshot case within the jurisdiction of Pimpri Chinchwad Police of Pune district on Wednesday.

A 42-year-old accused named Anant Singh, the victim’s cousin, and his assistant Rohit Pandey planned the assault because of a 12-lakh contract disagreement.
Ajay Vikram Singh was slain in broad daylight on January 20th inside the Kailas Steel Company building in Pimpri Chinchwad’s Chakan MIDC neighborhood.
After a 20-day inquiry, a family quarrel over a contract was discovered to be the cause of what was first thought to be an extortion attempt.
Vinoy Kumar Choubey, the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner, said that Madhya Pradesh resident Anant Singh had been arrested. Rohit Pandey, another suspect from Uttar Pradesh, was taken into custody. Five people were implicated in the crime, according to the Anti-Gunda Squad, which is in charge of the inquiry. All of the suspects should shortly be taken into prison by the police.
According to the inquiry, before executing the assault, the accused scouted Ajay Singh’s daily schedule. To track the victim’s movements, they bought two motorcycles. The attackers escaped to Visakhapatnam and then to Uttar Pradesh after the shooting.
Anant Singh made the incredible decision to go into hiding after seeing his cousin in the hospital after the assault.
The Pimpri Chinchwad Police are now conducting further inquiry into this matter, which was reported to the Mahalunge MIDC Police Station.
