“I appeal to people to take a holy bath patiently…” A follower remarked
“I am fortunate to take a dip during ‘Brahmamuhurat,'” another devotee added. “We were fortunate to take ‘shahi snan’ during the ‘Brahmamuhurat,” he said.

In Prayagraj, a group of pilgrims from Bengaluru went to Mahakumbh.

One pilgrim expressed appreciation for the facilities and added that people in Bengaluru speak a lot about Yogi and PM Modi.

“I encourage the Hindu people to visit Mahakumbh and worship in Prayagraj. In Bengaluru and Karnataka, people often discuss Yogi ji and PM Modi. Here, good preparations have been done,” he said.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, advised followers of the Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj to heed the administration’s directives in a statement published on the social networking site X on Wednesday.

“Dear followers, Mahakumbh-2025, Prayagraj, Do not try to get towards the Sangam Nose; instead, take your holy wash in the ghat that is closest to you. Please help in upholding order and heed all directives from the government,” Yogi Adityanath stated in his message.

Additionally, he said that all of the Sangam’s ghats are hosting baths. The CM went on to say, “Do not pay any attention to rumors.”

This follows the early hours of Wednesday when “a stampede-like” scenario occurred at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. However, Akanksha Rana, the special executive officer, said that the wounded were being treated and that the situation was not critical.

The tragedy has been acknowledged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is keeping a close eye on the situation. Amit Shah, the home minister, has also promised the center’s complete assistance.

Since there are now fewer people at their ghats, the Akharas, who had previously canceled the Amrit Snan, said they would take the holy plunge later in the day.
