A Delta Airlines plane crashed while attempting to land at Toronto Pearson International Airport
Ontario: On Monday, a Delta Airlines aircraft crashed while trying to touch down at Toronto Pearson International Airport, turning over on the slippery runway. According to Deborah Flint, the CEO of the airport, two runways would be kept blocked until authorities look into the event, CNN said.

Following the disaster, all arrivals and departures on the airport’s three other runways were immediately stopped but resumed by about 5 p.m. local time, Deborah Flint said at a news conference.
While an investigation is conducted, the other two runways will remain closed for the “rest of tonight and into the next several days,” according to Flint.
According to Flint, the collision also wounded 17 people. Twenty-two Canadians were among the 76 people on board; the others were foreigners.
