Haryana News: Second list of 9 candidates released for upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, Mohit Grover to contest from Gurugram
Haryana News : In preparation for the 2019 Haryana assembly elections, the Congress party unveiled their second list of nine candidates on September 8. On October 5, there will be a single phase of voting for the 90 Haryana seats. On October 8, the votes will be tabulated.
Among the nine contenders are Manju Choudhary from Nangal Chaudhary seat, Brijenda Sing from Tohana, Kuldeep Sharma from Ganaur, Ashok Arora from Thanesar, and Mohit Grover from Gurugram.
Hours after senior party leader KC Venugopal recruited Olympian wrestler Vineesh Phogat and Tokyo Olympics medallist Bajrang Punia into the party, the Congress unveiled its initial list of 31 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections of 2024 on September 6.
Phogat embarks on a campaign path
Phogathit started the campaign road earlier in the day in anticipation of Sunday’s Haryana Assembly elections. After recovering from a serious defeat at the Olympics in Paris, the wrestler joined the party on Friday and quickly emerged as its nominee for the Julana seat.
