The ANTF’s continuous campaign to establish a drug-free Delhi by 2027 includes her imprisonment.

A combined team including the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) and the Drug Department of the Government of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi began a coordinated operation in Kotla Mubarakpur, Delhi, on December 26 in response to a tip. In addition to Assistant Sub-Inspector Sunil, Women Head Constable Uma Chaudhary, and Head Constables Sikandar and Sunny, the ANTF’s Sub-Inspector Kuldeep oversaw the operation. Inspector Amar Kumar Mokashi was in charge of the Drug Department team.

According to the evidence provided, a lady called Nidhi was working in the region illegally and without the required permissions. She was well-known for supplying Mephentermine injections to gym patrons in order to increase their stamina and endurance. The officials organized a raid to capture her in response to this tip.

Nidhi was successfully captured by the team during the operation, and they discovered that he was in possession of a sizable amount of Mephentermine injections, which are considered banned narcotics (schedule H). These injections are often abused for non-medical reasons, and the police suspect Nidhi of being engaged in their unlawful distribution.

A total of 60 mephentermine injections were discovered throughout the search. These injections are not covered by the NDPS Act and are categorized under Schedule H of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act of 1940.

These injections were confiscated by the combined team, and the Drug Inspector acted in accordance with certain provisions of the 1940 Drugs and Cosmetics Act. These provisions have a minimum sentence of three years and a maximum sentence of life in prison. Because these injections were discovered kept at her home without a prescription or license, they filed a complaint and sent her a notice.

To find any possible links to wider drug trafficking networks, further research is being conducted. The defendant has never been convicted of a crime. Her illicit sales and storage of psychoactive chemicals, however, were a serious risk to public health, especially for local youngsters.

In its steadfast dedication to attaining a “Drug-Free Delhi by 2027,” Delhi Police, under the direction of the Delhi LG, concentrates on improving detection efforts in addition to holding awareness campaigns around the city.

The illicit sale and purchase of Schedule-H medications without the required medical prescriptions is something that the Delhi Police caution the public about. These drugs may have detrimental effects on one’s health and have dire legal repercussions.

According to Delhi Police, it is still dedicated to stopping the illicit trafficking of narcotics and other substances and making sure that everyone lives in a safe and healthy environment. This effective operation ensures that those who avoid justice are held responsible for their crimes and is part of ANTF’s continuous goal to have Drug-Free Delhi by 2027.
