Pakistan: Six people died in a car accident due to dense fog in Tandlianwala, Punjab
Pakistan: According to Ary News, a vehicle accident in deep fog at Tandianwala in Punjab, Pakistan, claimed the lives of at least six persons, including women and children, and wounded three more.
In a suburban region, a vehicle traveling from Lahore to Tandianwala collided with a tractor-trolley carrying sugarcane.
Children between the ages of three and six were among the victims, who were all members of the same family. For medical attention, the three wounded family members were brought to a neighboring hospital.
According to the police, the family is from Lahore and was heading to Tandlianwala after getting off the highway, according to Ary News.
Despite the fact that the driver ran away, the police have seized the tractor trolley. A complaint has been filed against the fugitive driver, and authorities have begun an investigation.
Due to heavy fog that covered the region in the early hours of Tuesday, Pakistan’s Motorway Police had earlier closed down various portions of the M-2, M-3, and M-4 highways to all types of traffic.
