A total of 1,946 newly recruited personnel of Manipur Police completed their one-year training at LBPA on December 23
In the Golaghat area of Assam, the Lachit Barphukan Police Academy (LBPA) hosted 1,946 recently hired members of the India Reserve Battalion of Manipur Police, who concluded their year-long training on December 23.
At the Assam Police’s Lachit Barphukan Police Academy, the recently hired Manipur Police officers from various groups, including Kukis, Meiteis, and Nagas, received training together. They declared their determination to bring the state back to its former harmony and to bring peace.
Manipur’s condition has been steadily getting better, Konthousam Jimson, a recently hired policeman from the Imphal West district, said ANI.
As brothers, Kuki, Meitei, and Naga all reside here. We don’t engage in conflict. This is a police community, and we all live here as one. Manipur’s situation has been steadily getting better, and we’ll work to resolve it entirely and restore peace,” Konthousam Jimson said.
Despite their diverse backgrounds, the recently hired constables have the same objective of cooperating as peace messengers.
Another Imphal West district constable, T. Meitei, said, “We have been living here for almost a year and we are a force member.”
Adding, “We are now united and peace should prevail,” T Meitei said.
However, Kangpokpi district’s P. Vaiphei Kuki told ANI that he wants the state’s circumstances to normalize.
“We want peace and we will bring peace and for that reason, we come here to become a fauzi man,” Kuki remarked.
On December 23, the 1,946 recently hired Manipur police officers received their diplomas.
