Two Bangladeshi women detained at Agartala railway station in Tripura for illegally entering India
Agartala: According to the officer-in-charge (OC) of the Agartala Government Railway Police (GRP), two Bangladeshi ladies were arrested on Monday for unauthorized entrance into India at the Agartala railway station in Tripura.
According to authorities, the GRP, the Railway Protection Force (RPF), the Border Security Force (BSF), and the Intelligence Department worked together to conduct the operation.
According to the police, the inmates, Nilufa Begum, 34, and Jiasmin, 30, who both lived in Bangladesh’s Shariatpur area, were captured on Monday afternoon.
The police claimed that preliminary investigations showed that they were headed to Delhi and that they had arrived at the railway station with the intention of boarding a train to another state.
At the Agartala GRP Police Station, additional interrogation is taking place with the help of female cops. As the investigation goes on, further arrests are anticipated since authorities believe that other people may be connected to this crime.
Regarding this event, a complaint has been filed at the Agartala GRP Police Station. On Tuesday, the two inmates will appear before the court. According to police authorities, additional important information might come to light during the continued questioning, they noted.
