Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhu held a review meeting of centrally sponsored schemes

Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, convened a review meeting on centrally funded initiatives on Monday and gave officials instructions to speed up current projects in several ministries so that the state’s citizens might gain as much as possible.

He also underlined how crucial it is to plan and rank new initiatives for the sake of the state.

According to an official statement, the Chief Minister evaluated the execution and advancement of programs pertaining to women’s welfare, the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), social welfare, backward class and tribal development, and agriculture during the meeting. He emphasized how important it is to finish these projects by the deadlines in order to keep costs from rising and to hasten the growth of the state.

In order to successfully serve targeted groups, the Chief Minister advised officials to take a proactive stance and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to provide residents with first-rate amenities at their doorstep. According to the release, he underlined how crucial it is to spread knowledge about government initiatives and policies in order to guarantee public involvement and access to these advantages.

He emphasized the state’s notable advancements over the last two years, which have seen the introduction of several ground-breaking programs for the general welfare. According to the statement, he requested that the departments educate the people about the State Government’s policies and programs so that they may take advantage of them.

According to the release, Chief Minister’s OSD Gopal Sharma, Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Onkar Chand Sharma, Principal Secretary Devesh Kumar, and Secretaries C. Paulrasu, Rakesh Kanwar, Ashish Singhmar, Rajesh Sharma, and Rakhil Kahlon were also in attendance, while Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena and Secretary Abhishek Jain participated virtually.
