Tom Green announces engagement to Amanda

The 53-year-old comedian Tom Green is getting engaged and beginning a new chapter in his life!

According to PEOPLE, he posted the good news on Instagram Threads on Sunday, December 22.

“Exciting news! I’m engaged to Amanda! I am the world’s luckiest man. Amanda, you are loved. We wish you everyone a happy holiday season and a joyous Christmas,” Green said on Instagram.

Green shared many photos of the pair, but he omitted numerous personal information, including Amanda’s last name. One picture shows Amanda in a snowy environment, flaunting her diamond engagement ring.

Green’s agent verified to PEOPLE that Amanda was raised in the actor’s hometown of Petawawa, Canada. The two went to the same primary school and have a link to their Canadian military family history. They both like “the country life,” which is consistent with Green’s recent return to Canada after two decades in Los Angeles.

The comedian currently breeds horses on a 150-acre forest ranch. In June 2024, he publicly revealed his relationship with Amanda for the first time by sharing pictures of the two of them on vacation and expressing gratitude for their “fun times out west.”

‘The Tom Green Show’ on MTV helped Tom Green become well-known in the late 1990s. He is well-known for his short marriage to actress Drew Barrymore in addition to his comedic career. After meeting on the set of “Charlie’s Angels,” the couple began dating in March 2000 and were married in July 2001. Five months later, PEOPLE reports that Green filed for divorce.
