PM Modi given ceremonial Guard of Honour at Bayan Palace in Kuwait

During his official visit to Kuwait, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeted by a Guard of Honor and a thunderous ceremonial greeting.

At Kuwait’s Bayan Palace, PM Modi received a ceremonial guard of honor. Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait, was also in attendance during the event.

The Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson on X also provided information on the meeting.

“A warm greeting on this momentous occasion! PM @narendramodi is greeted ceremoniously and accompanied by the Guard of Honor upon his arrival at Kuwait’s Bayan Palace. warmly welcomed by Kuwait’s prime minister, HH Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah. There will be lengthy discussions with Kuwait’s PM, Crown Prince, and HH the Amir.

The Prime Minister later met with the Amir of Kuwait as well.

The Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, has invited PM Modi to visit the Gulf country of Kuwait for two days. This is the first Indian prime minister to visit Kuwait in forty-three years.

Along with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya and a number of other dignitaries, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the country’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Interior, welcomed PM Modi upon his arrival.

Prior to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech, the Indian diaspora in Kuwait was notably excited and enthusiastic at the community event “Hala Modi” held at the Shaikh Saad Al Abdullah Indoor Sports Complex.

He spoke with Indian laborers and emphasized their role in the nation’s progress during his Saturday visit to Kuwait’s Gulf Spic Labour Camp.

PM Modi discussed the goals of Indian workers and connected them to his “Viksit Bharat 2047” (Developed India 2047) vision.
