‘Bridgerton’ actress Nicola Coughlan recreates a memorable moment from Vanderpump Rules
Actor Nicola Coughlan, who is most known for playing Penelope Featherington on “Bridgerton,” pleased fans by reenacting a popular scene from the reality TV program Vanderpump Rules at the restaurant SUR.
The actor, who has previously acknowledged being a “Vanderpump Rules” superfan, posted a series of amusing images on Instagram that depicted one of the most notorious back-alley fights on the program.
Coughlan can be seen adopting a dramatic position in the set of photos she shared on her Instagram stories, evoking the combative scenes that have come to represent the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ franchise.
In a moment that reflects the ferocious disputes that viewers have grown to appreciate, Coughlan, wearing a stylish black dress and a green coat, raises her hands as if in the midst of an intense disagreement with her friend Rebecca Lowman.
According to E! News, Coughlan visited SUR earlier this year, dining at the restaurant operated by Lisa Vanderpump, star of Vanderpump Rules, even though she just recently released the amusing photos.
“We are all big fans of your work, Nicola,” the restaurant said in a social media post at the time to show their gratitude. Thank you for joining us for dinner, SUR Family. “Nicola is a queen.”
Longtime fan of “Vanderpump Rules,” Coughlan even admitted that the reality TV show served as her “emotional support show” while she balanced her roles in “Bridgerton” and “Big Mood.”
In an interview, Coughlan said, “My brain was fried,” noting that it is difficult to learn the Bridgerton speech since it is not very lifelike. It’s very stylized. The play was written by one of my closest friends, and Big Mood is really informal. Thus, it’s the way we talk,” according to E! News.
She continued by explaining that she was psychologically worn out by the rigorous travel and continual wearing of wigs for Bridgerton, and that the emotionally charged plots of “Big Mood” did not provide her with the mental respite she need.
She said, “There were ten seasons of Vanderpump Rules, and I knew there was this huge scandal at the end. That was the only thing I could watch when I came home in the evening.” I was in. The concert was perfect. This reality program is ideal. It’s fantastic.
The explosive Sandoval drama that enthralled the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ audience was long before this discovery.
But since then, there have been a lot of changes to the show’s future. Bravo said that the newest season would have a completely new cast at the end of season 11, which aired after the devastating infidelity scandal involving Tom Sandoval, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, and Ariana Madix. This announcement has many fans wondering how the dynamic will change.
‘Vanderpump Rules’ creator Lisa Vanderpump reassured viewers that the forthcoming season would infuse the cherished reality series with new vitality, despite the fact that many fans have voiced worries over the roster shift.
“I think everything we do is going to have a different energy to it,” Lisa said in an interview with E! News in December. I will not attempt to compete with the previous Vanderpump Rules. There, everything will just be completely different. However, we’ll return to the idea of the challenges of managing a restaurant and its employees. And there’s always a tale to be told about it.
Despite calling her time on set with the original cast members “wonderful,” Lisa admitted that a change was needed, saying, “Stories were kind of closing up a little bit,”
As reported by E! News, she said, “I think people, they weren’t that shocked that we decided to do this now,”
