UP government will build a 300-bed deluxe hostel for the stay of pilgrims and tourists in Maha Kumbh
The Uttar Pradesh government plans to build a 300-bed luxury hostel in Prayagraj to house pilgrims and visitors in advance of the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, officials said Thursday.
Officials said the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) would build a 300-bed luxury dormitory in the Maha Kumbh Mela region to improve its tent-based deluxe lodging options. This massive project, which will shortly begin construction, intends to provide guests first-rate housing choices.
There will be fifty tents in the dorm, which will be split into three categories: twenty tents with four beds each, ten tents with six beds each, and twenty tents with eight beds each.
To accommodate the demands of foreign visitors, VIPs, and ordinary pilgrims, the government has established tent towns that are being built and run in the Mahakumbh Mela region.
The size of each tent in this luxurious hostel will vary from 250 to 400 square feet. The villas and ultra-deluxe tents that UPSTDC has already built in Arail will be created and run to the same exacting standards as these tents. of the same quality as the villas and ultra-luxurious tents that UPSTDC has previously erected in Arail.
This guarantees that groups of pilgrims and visitors living in these tents may have a pleasant stay together in the Mahakumbh region while taking use of top-notch amenities.
Air conditioning, double beds with mattresses, sofa sets, bespoke interiors, writing desks, geysers, fire extinguishers, quilts and blankets, mosquito nets, Wi-Fi, a dining area, communal sitting areas, a waiting lounge, and a meeting lounge are just a few of the first-rate amenities that the deluxe tents in the Mahakumbh Mela area will provide. Additionally, visitors will take in tranquil river views, making for a wonderful and engrossing experience.
The UPSTDC will provide a range of activity packages in addition to lodging. Sangam boat excursions, couch boat rides, banana boat rides, cruise rides, and religious ceremonial setups at the Prayagraj Sangam are among them. Through carefully planned trips, tourists may also discover Prayagraj’s rich religious and mythical legacy.
Toast, milk with cornflakes, sweetened curd, sprouts, fresh-cut fruits, hot chocolate shakes, puri-sabzi, South Indian food, a variety of parathas, vegetable thalis, and drinks like green tea, masala chai, ordinary tea, and coffee will all be included in the varied menu of culinary options.
Packages will also include information on cultural events and yoga sessions for guests. The main operating period for the luxury tents is January 13–February 26.
Soon, the UPSTDC website and the Mahakumbh Mela app will provide booking options, package information, and other specifics on these tent dorms.
