Mahesh Babu lends his voice to the iconic character Mufasa in the Telugu dub of ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’

In the Telugu remake of “Mufasa: The Lion King,” superstar Mahesh Babu is creating waves in the animated film industry by providing the voice of the renowned character Mufasa.

The movie, which was directed by Barry Jenkins, will tell the origin tale of the well-known lion king Mufasa and will be released in theaters on December 20, 2024.

Vocalizing Mufasa has been a very personal and treasured experience for Mahesh Babu.

“Voicing Mufasa has been an incredible experience that I’ll always hold close to my heart,” the actor said on social media to share his joy. I really hope you enjoy Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King as much as I did.

Apart from Mahesh Babu, the Telugu adaptation of “Mufasa: The Lion King” also stars actor Ali, who plays the naughty Timon, and famous comedian Brahmanandam, who portrays Pumbaa.

Bollywood celebrity Shah Rukh Khan plays Mufasa in the Hindi adaptation of “Mufasa: The Lion King,” while his kids Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan play Simba and infant Mufasa, respectively.
