Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the legislature, saying, “We are sending the young of Uttar Pradesh to Israel, while a Congress representative was wandering about the Parliament with a bag that read Palestine on it. To far, around 5600 young people from Uttar Pradesh have traveled to Israel to work on building projects. Every young person is given full security, a monthly wage of Rs 1.5 lakh, plus free housing and food.

When Priyanka Gandhi was seen carrying the purse at a Parliament meeting on Monday, a commotion broke out. The word “Palestine” was inscribed on the bag, along with a number of icons, such as a watermelon, which is often connected to Palestinian solidarity.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, a Congress MP, criticized BJP comments about her carrying a bag with the word “Palestine” printed on it on Monday, calling them “useless things.”

The BJP-led federal government, according to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, need to take action in response to the crimes committed against Hindus and minorities in Bangladesh.

“Something has to be done about the crimes committed against Hindus and minorities in Bangladesh. “This should be discussed with the government of Bangladesh. They should refrain from saying such pointless things,” Vadra told reporters.

The struggle between Israel and Palestine has been continuing on since October 2023, when Hamas invaded Israel and took its population hostage.

India has strongly denounced the October 7, 2023, terror attacks on Israel and the deaths of civilians in the continuing Israel-Hamas war, according to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs.

India has had a stable and long-standing stance toward Palestine. According to the MEA, India has backed a negotiated two-state solution that aims to create a sovereign, independent, and viable State of Palestine within safe, recognized boundaries, coexisting peacefully with Israel.
