DRDO successfully hosted its Annual Official Language Seminar on “Contribution of Defence Technology in Developed India”

At Tezpur, the annual Rajbhasha Sangoshthi with the subject “Viksit Bharat Mein Raksha Prodyogiki Ka Yogdan” was successfully held by the Soldier Support System cluster of the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO).

The Defence Research Laboratory (DRL) in Tezpur, in collaboration with DPARO&M, DRDO Headquarters in Delhi, hosted the event from December 12–13, according to a press release. To encourage scientific discourse in the national language, more than 80 participants from different DRDO labs throughout the nation attended the conference and gave presentations of their scientific results in Hindi.

This congregation’s main goal was to increase awareness and appreciation of the role that defense technology plays in creating “Viksit Bharat” by promoting the spread of scientific information via Hindi.

As the Chief Guest at the opening session, Professor Shambhu Nath Singh, Vice Chancellor of Tezpur University, spoke on the importance of Hindi in scientific communication and national unity. According to the statement, Brig. Sujit Upadhyay, Brig. EME 4 Corps., Arun Chaudhary, Director DIITM, DRDO HQ, and Dr. Sunil Sharma, Director, DPARO&M, DRDO HQ, were also honored guests.

Dr. DV Kamboj, Director of DRL, gave a welcoming speech to kick off the event. He emphasized the value of producing scientific publications in Hindi and urged participants to keep supporting Hindi in their academic and professional endeavors.

Prominent scientists and experts from DRDO’s many technical clusters were among the prominent speakers who discussed defense technology in Hindi and its role in Viksit Bharat throughout the course of the two-day event. Faculty members from Tezpur University also gave lectures.

At the event’s valedictory celebration on December 13, Dr. PK Bora, Director of NERIWALM, Tezpur, was the main guest and stressed the importance of Hindi in scientific communication. As the honored guest, KC Vikram, DIG SSB, graced the event. His speech emphasized how important it is to include the language in order to advance scientific cooperation and defense technologies in India.
