Telugu film writer Chinni Krishna calls Allu Arjun’s arrest a case of
After being detained in relation to a fatal event that occurred during the premiere of his film “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” actor Allu Arjun was granted temporary bail by the Telangana High Court on December 13.
The actor was arrested after a lady called Revathi died and her kid was hurt in a tumultuous incident outside Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre on December 4.
The event started when the actor showed up at the movie theater, where a sizable and enthusiastic audience had gathered to see him.
According to reports, as Allu Arjun waved to the audience from his car’s sunroof, things got out of hand.
According to authorities, this incited the throng, causing a scenario akin to a stampede. According to police, the actor’s conduct and his security team’s pushing of the throng to make room for the car caused the deadly collision.
Police claim that Allu Arjun’s team did not act right away even after being alerted to the large crowd and possible dangers.
The actor stayed inside the theater for more than two hours as the situation outside worsened, the police said. “Allu Arjun remained in the theater for almost two hours after his crew was asked to remove him, claiming a large public gathering, but they chose not to do so. Consequently, it is evident that there was a sufficient police bandobast in place; his actions were what caused this regrettable occurrence,” the police said.
Ashok Reddy, the actor’s attorney, voiced his displeasure with the High Court’s judgment and the delay in his client’s release after the arrest. He referred to it as a “illegal detention” and promised to take the matter to court. “They did not free the accused even after receiving a copy of the High Court’s judgment. “They’ll have to answer… he’s been released as of right now,” Reddy said.
After being held in Chanchalguda Central Jail, Allu Arjun was freed on a Rs 50,000 personal bail.
Fans and reporters gathered outside the prison to witness the actor’s release, which was accompanied by increased security. Allu Arjun praised his followers and supporters for their undying devotion after being released. “I appreciate the love and support from everyone. Thank you to all of my fans. There is no need for concern. I’m all right. I will comply because I am a law-abiding person. I want to offer the family my sympathies once again. “It was a regrettable event,” the actor said.
He reiterated his sympathies for the grieving family and underlined that the tragedy was an accident. “I’m a law-abiding citizen, there’s nothing to worry, all is well… condolences to the family… it was an accident, nothing like that happened before, I have extended all support to her family… thank you to all of you,” he said.
Chinni Krishna, a writer, also defended the actor, calling the arrest a “fabricated” case that was planned by the police and administration.
“It is a case fabricated by the government and police,” he said.
His remarks contribute to the continuing discussion on the event, as a number of celebrities and political people have shown their support for the actor.
Actors Varun Dhawan and Rashmika Mandanna were among the supporters, along with Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KTR.
The terrible event has received a lot of attention, and many people have expressed concerns about the function of public events and celebrity appearances under these circumstances.
Allu Arjun had previously voiced his astonishment and sadness at the occurrence, saying it took him many hours to come to terms with the tragedy before he was arrested.
“It is very regrettable what happened at the Sandhya theater… I am astonished. Processing it and reacting to the issue takes hours. I was unable to mentally absorb it. I spent around ten hours on it. At the ‘Pushpa 2’ victory meet, he said, “When we heard the news, we all went blank.”
