Varun Dhawan came in support of Allu Arjun’s arrest, said this
Fans and others in the film business were astonished when Allu Arjun was arrested by the police for causing a stampede at the Pushpa 2: The Rule premiere at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad.
Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has publicly defended Allu Arjun, saying that placing the responsibility on one person is incorrect.
Varun said at the ‘Baby John’ pre-release event in Jaipur that the actor cannot be held exclusively accountable for safety procedures. You may only provide advice to others in your immediate vicinity. It was a horrible event. While I offer my sympathies, you cannot hold a one individual responsible.
Allu Arjun and the Pushpa 2 crew went to the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4th to see the movie. Large crowds of fans flocked to the location to see the celebrity. However, a scenario akin to a stampede happened, resulting in the death of a 35-year-old lady and the hospitalization of her son.
Allu Arjun was taken into custody by Hyderabad’s Chikkadpally police on Friday morning in relation to the stampede. For interrogation, he was brought from his home to the Chikkadpally Police Station.
After consulting with his attorney, Allu Arjun asked the High Court for an expedited hearing. He had already petitioned the High Court to have the FIR against him dismissed.
On his official social media account, former state minister and Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi working president K. T. Rama Rao denounced the detention. “The arrest of National Award-winning star Allu Arjun is the height of the rulers’ insecurity,” he said. Although I have the utmost sympathy for the stampede victims, who really failed? It is unacceptable to treat @alluarjun Garu like a regular criminal, particularly for something for which he has no direct responsibility.
There is always room for dignity and respect. I passionately oppose the government’s tyrannical actions.
During the turmoil, the dead lady, Revathi, who was 35 years old, suffered fatal injuries. Shreethej, her son, was also admitted to the hospital. The people was stunned and in mourning after the tragedy, despite police using a minor lathi charge to try to contain the gathering.
After the incident, Allu Arjun said he was devastated. He expressed his emotional reaction at the movie’s success meeting on December 7th, stating, “The tragedy that happened in the Sandhya theater is terribly tragic… I am astonished. I took hours to think it over and reply. I was unable to mentally absorb it. I spent around ten hours on it. When we received the news, we all went blank. The bereaved family was also reassured of his support when he said, “We will always be there and try to support the family.”
Deep sadness at the loss was also conveyed by director Sukumar, who collaborated with Allu Arjun for Pushpa 2. “I’ve been working on this movie for more than six years, yet I haven’t been satisfied for three days because a director is constantly sensitive. I can’t build a life, no matter how long I workâthree or six years. What transpired has devastated my heart. I really apologize for it. Sukumar, who was clearly affected, stated, “I apologize to the family and assure you, we will always support you.”
Prior to the victory meeting, Allu Arjun expressed his sympathies on social media and promised to provide the family of the dead lady with financial support. “We send the family our sincerest sympathies. We recognize that no amount of words or deeds will ever make up for the loss you are experiencing,” he stated.
He said that the wounded son’s medical costs will be covered in addition to a payment of Rs 25 lakh.
