Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha said, the benefits of welfare schemes should reach the last person in the society
Nalchar: Manik Saha, the chief minister of Tripura, emphasized the importance of elected local public officials in making sure that the last man in society benefits from social programs.
CM Saha made this statement at a function on Thursday at the Dasamighat field in Nalchar, where he gave around 3,000 recipients the benefits of many programs.
The CM also unveiled an ambulance and a cutting-edge mobile testing van at the ceremony, which were the result of local MLA Kishore Barman’s initiative.
“By putting development projects into action, the government is concentrating on growing the rural economy. For the benefit of the populace, the state administration is implementing a number of initiatives,” Saha said.
The chief minister emphasized that in keeping with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s agenda, the administration is pursuing rural development in a practical manner.
“Efforts are going on for the successful implementation of various schemes of the central and state governments to strengthen the rural economy,” he said.
He said that the state’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) is higher than that of several other states, demonstrating the rural regions’ robust socioeconomic situation.
He went on to say that the state government’s many developmental initiatives demonstrate the advantages of the double-engine system.
The Chief Minister gave the recipients paperwork outlining the advantages and services of many federal and state developmental programs at the ceremony.
District Magistrate Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal, SP Sepahijala B J Reddy, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Rupan Das, Supriya Das Dutta, Sabhadhipati of Sepahijala Zilla Parishad, and other dignitaries also attended the meeting.
