Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne is set to star in ‘Panic Carefully’

Sam Esmail, the director of the popular television series “Mr. Robot,” is directing the gripping new thriller “Panic Carefully,” which will feature Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne.

According to People magazine, Redmayne will co-star with Julia Roberts and Elizabeth Olsen in the Warner Bros. movie, which is expected to have viewers on the edge of their seats.

Esmail wrote the screenplay, which is not yet public knowledge, although it has been called a paranoid thriller with tonal references to classic psychological dramas like Silence of the Lambs.

The narrative, which combines elements of suspense, intrigue, and high-stakes drama, centers on the search for a cyber-terrorist. According to People magazine, Esmail’s astute directing and the gifted ensemble should provide an engrossing cinematic experience.

Esmail and Roberts reunite in “Panic Carefully” after their successful partnership on Netflix’s “Leave the World Behind.”

‘Mr. Robot’ co-producers Chad Hamilton and Scott Stuber also reconnect with the filmmaker for this project.

According to People magazine, Esmail is one of many producers, along with Roberts, Marisa Yeres Gill, and Lisa Gillan. Kevin McCormick and Chrystal Li are in charge of the Warner Bros. project.

Following a fierce bidding battle earlier this year, the movie attracted a lot of attention, and both creators and viewers found it appealing due to its dedication to a theatrical release.

Redmayne will contribute his depth and breadth to the part in “Panic Carefully,” having been praised for his performance in “Day of the Jackal” on Peacock.

Redmayne plays Lashana Lynch in the series, which premiered in November to overwhelmingly positive reviews and immediately gained popularity.
