Speaking to a sizable crowd in the state capital, top BJP officials said that the Congress administration was engaging in misgovernance and not fulfilling its commitments.

Rajiv Bindal, the state BJP chief, said that the Congress administration had not lived up to the promises it had given the people of Himachal Pradesh.

“In Himachal Pradesh, there is nothing to celebrate during the Congress’s tenure,” he said. They are blaming the BJP for their own errors rather than fulfilling their own commitments. Similar demonstrations are being planned in every district, and on December 18, at the Assembly’s winter session in Dharamshala, we will expose the Congress. On that day, there will be a large-scale demonstration,” Bindal told the reporters.

The Congress administration allegedly deceived the public with false promises, according to Sanjay Tandon, the BJP’s co-incharge for Himachal Pradesh.

“The government of Congress need to release a white paper outlining its commitments. Rather, they are preoccupied with unimportant things like samosa research. Speaking to the media, Tandon added, “I invite everyone to this Janakrosh Rally in order to reveal their deceit.”
Speaking to the crowd, Shrikant Sharma said that anti-national elements were influencing the Congress.

“It is clear throughout the state that the so-called guarantees of the Congress have not succeeded,” he remarked. Leftist forces have taken control of their party, and anti-Indian groups are using Rahul Gandhi as a pawn in order to finance the Congress’s first family. The Congress is jeopardizing national interests in order to gain power. We will make sure they are removed from power and expose them at every booth level.

In a scathing assault, former chief minister Jairam Thakur said that the Congress administration was driving the state into financial collapse.

“Himachal Pradesh is up for sale thanks to the Congress administration. They are celebrating two years of catastrophe and have not lived up to their promises. Congressmen themselves are unsure of what they are celebrating. Although his cabinet colleagues believe they were not consulted, the chief minister says they are prepared for a lavish celebration,” Thakur added.

“In the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won all four parliamentary seats and defeated the Congress in 61 out of 68 assembly segments,” Thakur said, casting doubt on the government’s accomplishments. Are they commemorating this? We serviced the state’s citizens, paid pensions, and maintained social programs in spite of COVID-19. In contrast to how long we took to borrow the same amount, this Congress administration has saddled the state with a debt of Rs28,000 crore in barely two years.”

“The Congress government has shut 1,500 schools and institutions,” he said, highlighting important challenges. They have put assets like Delhi’s Himachal Bhawan and HPTDC hotels up for sale and discontinued the Him Care Card program for the underprivileged. We’ll keep acting as a formidable opposition and bringing their shortcomings to the public’s attention.”

In order to make the Congress administration responsible for what they called two years of misrule, the BJP leaders pledged to step up their demonstrations across the state.

The protest prepared the ground for a political battle in Dharamshala during the Himachal Pradesh Assembly’s next winter session.
