On Saturday, Delhi Police’s special unit in Hyderabad apprehended Zaidi, who was sought by the NIA. After his arrest, the NIA announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh.

Zaidi was sought for allegedly smuggling young Indians into Southeast Asia and forcing them to labor at phony call centers.

After hearing the NIA’s arguments, Kamran Haider was given detention by Principal District and Sessions Judge Vimal Kumar Yadav. A fresh FIR was filed and the matter was turned over to the NIA.

Zaidi was previously brought before Special Judge (NIA) Chander Jit Singh by the Delhi Police special cell after his arrest from Hyderabad, Telangana, on December 7. He was placed in transit custody and sent to Delhi.

Through his consultancy, Zaidi reportedly operated a global people trafficking ring. Under the guise of offering them employment in Thailand and Laos, he enticed Indians to work in phony contact centers.
On the basis of Naresh Lakhavat’s accusation, a formal complaint was filed at the New Friends Colony police station on July 25. He said that he discovered the Ali International Services consulting business in New Delhi while looking for work.

He was allegedly transferred to Thailand after receiving employment offers in both Thailand and Laos. He said that when he arrived in the other nation, someone stole his passport. He was compelled to work for a Chinese business that preyed on Indians online.
