Huge fire breaks out in Rajouri Garden restaurant

The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) responded quickly to a large fire that started Monday afternoon at the Jungle Jamboree restaurant in the Rajouri Garden neighborhood of West Delhi.

Shopkeepers in the vicinity were alarmed as dense smoke plumes enveloped the neighborhood after the incident, which began at about 2:01 pm. Atul Garg, Chief of Delhi Fire Services, told news agency PTI, “At 2.01 pm, we received a fire call near Rajouri Garden Metro Station, and 10 fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the site to control the blaze.”

The fire’s precise cause has not yet been identified. In order to maintain public safety and efficient firefighting operations, authorities promptly roped off the area.

The Delhi Fire Services posted a video that demonstrated the ferocity of the fire by showing towering plumes of black smoke rising from the structure. Currently, firefighters are trying to manage the situation.

Although there have been no confirmed injuries so far, authorities are nonetheless keeping a careful eye on the situation.
