Zia Ur Rehman, an MP for the Samajwadi Party, said earlier today that the party has been calling for the current Supreme Court judge involved in the Sambhal stone-pelting event to be included on the investigation committee.

“SP has been demanding that the probe committee include the current Supreme Court judge,” Rehman told ANI. We have petitioned the Supreme Court, requesting that the district court’s hearing on the survey case be halted and that the matter be considered there instead.”

He said that correct usage of the place of worship act is necessary.

“It is important to apply the Place of Worship Act appropriately. The Ajmer dargah has also been the subject of a petition. When will this end?.. It is incorrect to claim that Babar Sahab constructed the mosque and destroyed the temple. A mosque had been there for a very long time. “Why are a few chosen individuals being given the opportunity to disrupt the atmosphere?” he continued.

The state government will make sure that peace and order prevailed in the city, according to UP Deputy Chief Minister KP Maurya.

“The administration complies with the Supreme Court’s directives. The Samajwadi Party works to disobey the SC’s directives. “I tell Samajwadi Party rioters and goons not to ruin the mood or their party will fail,” he remarked.

This follows a stone-pelting episode in Sambhal during the ASI inspection of the mosque from the Mughal period, which left four people dead and several more residents and police officers injured.

To make sure there were no indications of unrest and that namaz was performed in the Shahi Jama Masjid correctly, police and security officers had been stationed around the area.
