Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha reiterated the Center’s position on the issue and emphasized the need to safeguard Sanatan Dharma while warning against assaults on minority Hindus in Bangladesh.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always said that the nation cannot thrive or become strong if its youth do not band together. The rally today was fantastic. I supported the Yuva Shakti and participated in the massive bike rally. Everyone is content. Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas is what we believe in. “We will fulfill the slogan we have raised, which is to make Tripura drug-free,” he said.

In response to the assaults on Hindus in Bangladesh, Chief Minister Saha emphasized the need for border surveillance and called for moderation.

“The situation in Bangladesh is a global concern. Regarding this, our central leadership has spoken and delivered a statement. In the same vein, we must call for moderation and the preservation of Bangladesh’s Hindu minority. We’re keeping a careful eye on things, and I’ve already told the DGP to keep a tight eye on the borders to make sure no trespassers enter,” he added.

He said, “They only speak about Iraq and similar issues, taking to the streets, but on this matter, they remain silent.” He was critical of opposition parties for their lack of action on the issue.

He also addressed complaints from opposition parties that the BJP lacks popular backing, such as the Congress and CPIM.

“The BJP’s position has been established by the election results. The BJP has won handily in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Maharashtra under PM Modi’s leadership. But they still yell without cause. We don’t have any issues, so let them yell. Our Tripura administration is working in tandem with PM Modi’s constant discourse on development. Development is proceeding,” CM Saha said.

Additionally, he exhorted the young people to avoid wasting their lives in favor of the resistance.

“As the BJP’s membership drive continues, I urge the young people who have dedicated their lives to the opposition to join. Don’t pass up this chance. Young people should avoid falling into the opposition’s trap. “We operate on democratic principles and we believe in democracy,” he said.

MLA Sambhu Lal Chakma, BJP state Prabhari Dr Rajdeep Roy, BJP state general secretary Bhagavan Das, Bipin Debbarma, and BJP Yuva Morcha state president and MLA Sushanta Deb attended the ceremony.
