Fiji’s Deputy Prime Minister made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, during the talks Manoa Kamikamica expressed his desire for mutual cooperation
According to a statement released on Thursday, Fiji’s Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica paid Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel a courtesy call in Gandhinagar.
According to the release, the Deputy Prime Minister of Fiji stated during this courtesy call meeting with the Chief Minister that they are willing to work together so that Fiji can benefit from Gujarat’s international recognition in the agricultural sector, particularly in the dairy industry.
He worked on AI and ICT in addition to the dairy business. They spoke on the potential for collaboration in the field of cyber security between Gujarat and Fiji.
In this meeting, the chief minister and the deputy prime minister of Fiji spoke extensively about how Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi, the chief minister of Gujarat, has established a new development record and turned Gujarat into a growth engine and a model for development.
Additionally, he noted that in 2014, Narendrabhai Modi made his first trip to Fiji as Prime Minister.
Gujarat has seized the lead in producing green hydrogen and renewable energy, according to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, who also said that the biggest hybrid renewable energy plant in the world is now being built in Kutch.
In addition, Gujarat’s waste-to-energy strategy promotes the use of biomass, biogas, and biofuel in the agricultural industry.
The Fijian Deputy Prime Minister said that, given the country’s extensive sugarcane crop, he can help Gujarat generate ethanol.
A high-level Fijian delegation was invited by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to visit Gujarat in order to learn about and witness the state’s accomplishments in a number of fields as well as the policies it has developed for a range of industries and developing sectors as a policy-driven state.
According to the Chief Minister, Gujarat would provide assistance in the areas where Fiji need involvement and direction.
The Chief Minister conveyed his hope that the high-level delegation’s visit to Gujarat will forge a solid and productive collaboration between Fiji, Gujarat, and India.
According to the release, he also said that Gujarat is committed to playing a key role in Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi’s “Developed India @ 2047” vision.
For this reason, a Road Map of Gujarat @ 2047 has been created, with an emphasis on making it easy to conduct business while still making a good livelihood.
Additionally, he told Fiji’s Deputy Prime Minister that Giftcity has become a global financial center.
Gift City and Amul-Anand will be visited by the Deputy Prime Minister of Fiji after the courtesy call with the Chief Minister.
