BJP’s Giriraj Singh said this big thing amidst the Ajmer Dargah controversy
Union Minister Giriraj Singh attacked individuals who opposed the Ajmer Sharif Dargah survey, calling it an effort to create a new Sambhal.
In an interview with reporters on Thursday, Singh accused the Congress of appeasement tactics and blamed them for the present state of affairs.
“The court ordered a survey in Ajmer. What is wrong if a judge orders a survey after a Hindu has filed a plea? Our temples were demolished by the Mughals. How many mosques will you do this for, you ask? I’ll state that up until now, Congress has solely engaged in appeasement.
We wouldn’t have to go to court now if Nehru hadn’t destroyed temples to halt the construction of mosques. The petition was submitted for this reason, and the court granted it. Although the poll was mandated by law, they are attempting to turn it into another Sambhal.
Speaking to reporters, Singh said, “That will not occur.”
Ajmer Sharif Dargah is visited by people from all over the world, and making a fuss over it just shows a “hateful” and “shallow” attitude, said Samajwadi Party (SP) Rajya Sabha MP Ram Gopal Yadav.
He said that those supported by the saffron party would stop at nothing to hold onto power.
“I’ve stated that before as well. Judges at lower courts are the kind who want to criticize the nation. This is meaningless. The ‘chaddar’ is sent to the Ajmer Sharif Dargah by Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally. People go to Ajmer Sharif from all across the nation and the globe. That location’s involvement in dispute shows an extremely narrow-minded and bigoted worldview. In addition, those supported by the BJP will stop at nothing to hold onto power.
They won’t give a damn if the nation is attacked. Ram Gopal Yadav, an SP MP, told the reporters, “They only want power.”
Earlier, MP Owaisi of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) questioned lower courts’ actions, suggesting that the Places of Worship Act was being disregarded.
He said that the country’s brotherhood and rule of law were being weakened by the Modi and RSS governments, and that they will be held accountable for this.
“We saw the deaths of five persons in Sambhal. This is detrimental to the nation. The nation, fraternity, and rule of law are all being weakened by the Modi and RSS governments. They’ll need to respond to this. “The BJP-RSS is giving the orders for all of this,” Owaisi said.
This follows a Rajasthani court’s acceptance of a Hindu Sena petition asserting that the Ajmer Sharif Dargah is the shrine of Lord Shiva.
