According to PM Modi, the founders of the Constitution gave citizens the freedom to interpret it as they saw fit, making judgments that are suitable for the time, place, and nation. He continued by saying that the framers of the Constitution understood that India’s goals and ambitions would grow with time and that the requirements of the country’s citizens would change as the problems did. As a result, he said, the drafters of the Constitution created a living, breathing river rather than a static document.

“Our Constitution is a guide to our present and our future,” he said, adding that it has provided the correct course for addressing the many issues that have arisen during the last 75 years of its existence.
He also emphasized that the Constitution had satisfied all of the nation’s needs and expectations, even in the face of the Emergency.

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s Constitution, he said, was still in effect in Jammu and Kashmir today.
The Prime Minister emphasized that India was going through a significant period of transformation and that the Constitution was serving as a beacon of guidance, pointing us in the correct direction. PM Modi said that “today the goal of every citizen was to build a Viksit Bharat,” underscoring that the future of India now lay in accomplishing lofty goals and significant resolves.

The prime minister emphasized that several actions have been made in recent years to guarantee socioeconomic justice, such as creating more than 53 crore bank accounts for those who were unable to use banks in the previous ten years.

He continued by saying that over the previous ten years, 10 crore gas cylinder connections were given to women in the home, and four crore people were guaranteed pucca dwellings.

Even after 75 years of independence, PM Modi pointed out that just 3 crore homes in India have access to household taps. He went on to say that he was happy that his government had improved the lives of residents, especially women, by installing more than 12 crore tap water connections in households during the previous five to six years.

He pointed out that images of Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Lord Hanuman, Bhagwan Buddha, Bhagwan Mahavira, and Guru Govind Singh were included in the original draft of the Indian Constitution.

He went on to say that the Constitution included these representations of Indian culture in order to continuously remind us of and uphold human ideals.

“Human Values are the basis of today’s Indian policies and decisions,” he said.
According to PM Modi, the punishment-based system has now given way to a justice-based one, and Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita was put into place to guarantee that people get justice quickly.

Children in the most isolated communities were receiving vaccinations today, he noted. He said that many middle-class and impoverished families’ problems have been lessened as a result of his initiatives.

The prime minister urged that every effort was being made by the government to alleviate the challenges that residents faced. More than 2.5 crore families, who had no electric connection till a few years ago, were electrified via the Free Electricity project, he said. In order to provide individuals with mobile connection via 4G and 5G technologies, he said, mobile towers were placed in the most distant locations. “India has taken the lead over the developed nations in ensuring land records of houses and agricultural lands in India,” the prime minister said. He went on to say that drone mapping of the village’s homes and property was done as part of the PM Swamitva Yojana, and legal papers were created using that information.

According to PM Modi, the nation’s progress depends heavily on the quick construction of contemporary infrastructure. He went on to say that timely completion of infrastructure projects guaranteed both financial savings and the project’s overall usefulness.

He said that the Prime Minister personally convened the monthly PRAGATI platform reviews of infrastructure projects, which included reviewing over Rs 18 lakh crore worth of projects and removing any hurdles. The timely completion of infrastructure projects has improved people’s lives in many ways, according to the prime minister.
