Coolie : Will Aamir Khan and Lokesh Kanagaraj work together in Rajinikanth’s film Coolie

Coolie : It seems that two well-known figures from the Tamil and Bollywood film industries are planning a significant joint venture. Latest reports hint at a possible union between Aamir Khan and filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. According to Pinkvilla, the two recently met to discuss a number of options, such as a stand-alone role, a cameo in Rajinikanth’s eagerly awaited movie Coolie, or both.

“They have met and are exploring several options… we need to wait and watch to know what works out from either of the two options,” a source that Pinkvilla cited said. It should be mentioned that neither party has yet to provide an official confirmation.

Additionally, it was previously reported that Aamir Khan and Lokesh Kanagaraj will collaborate on a movie that Mythri Movie Makers would produce. According to reports, these most recent developments suggest that the original conjecture may be accurate and result in a very successful partnership for enthusiasts. Additionally, this may be the first time Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan share a screen.

Currently in production is Lokesh Kanagaraj’s fast-paced action movie Coolie, starring Rajinikanth. The movie apparently began production in Hyderabad in July of this year. In the second part of 2025, it is anticipated to open in theaters.

The movie’s title teaser, which features Rajinikanth as a fiery avatar who takes out anybody who stands in his path, was just unveiled by Coolie’s producers. The soundtrack is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Aamir Khan, meanwhile, last appeared in the movie Laal Singh Chaddha in 2022. The actor will now feature in the RS Prasanna-directed sports drama Sitaare Zameen Par. The next production is based on the 2018 Spanish motion picture Champions. Genelia Deshmukh will play the major role in the movie, which is scheduled for release in 2019.
