Important entry and exit points were guarded against criminal activity. Armed with drones, Deep Search Metal Detectors, and Explosive Detection Dogs, security forces conducted thorough searches of the regions around PS Jiribam and Jakuradhar/Borobekra. In order to enhance the work of ground parties, the teams also used quadcopters for efficient monitoring,” the statement said.

“An improvised device and a grenade attached to a trip wire, placed by miscreants in a jungle trail, were defused as a result of the operation,” the statement said. The security forces’ determination to eliminate any dangers to peace was further shown by the dismantling of three unlawful bunkers in the general area rubber garden.
