The documentary tells the tales of terrorists, civilians, security personnel, and the families of martyrs in order to highlight the human cost of the continuing struggle in Kashmir. Gandhi illustrates the common suffering of those surviving the upheaval via in-the-moment video and in-person interviews.

The video highlights the urgent need for peace while providing an honest look at the decades-long conflict in the area.

Speaking about the film’s production, Rohit Gandhi said, “I began conducting primary research on this story in 2017.” I spent time with the families of both terrorists and civilians while touring South Kashmir’s communities. This is the result of seven years of labor.

Rohit discussed the film’s production in a press release that the film’s crew issued.

“I began conducting primary research for this story in 2017.” I spent time with the families of both terrorists and civilians while touring South Kashmir’s communities. In a statement, the director remarked, “This is the result of seven years of work.”

“The narrative keeps getting stuck in the same pattern. In actuality, we must take the bull by the horns and point out the issues at hand. “We can’t lose any more civilian lives,” the director said.

In the meanwhile, more than 180 foreign films from 81 nations are on display at IFFI 2024, which started on November 20. Of them, 16 are world debuts, 3 are international premieres, 43 are Asian premieres, and 109 are Indian premieres.

According to Variety, the organizers have also included a tribute program to commemorate the 100th birthdays of four Indian movie icons: musician Mohammed Rafi, Telugu film star Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR), director Tapan Sinha, and actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor.

Goa is hosting the 55th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which will conclude on November 28.
