“A triumph for Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge’s leadership!” he said. “A triumph of Congress employees, Congress promises, and Congress government policies, along with the guidance of PCC President DK Shivakumar and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.”

DK Shivakumar, the state’s deputy chief minister, described the victory as a rejection of the BJP’s narrative. “The people of Shiggaon, Sandur, and Channapatna have disapproved of the claims made by the leaders of the BJP and NDA. In Karnataka, their union would never succeed,” he said.

Congresswoman E Annapoorna thanked the people of Sandur for their support. “I’m honored to have been selected by the constituency’s residents. I’ll do my best to live up to their standards. The MP (her husband, E Tukaram) and I will endeavor to improve the constituency. People have voted for me because they saw me as one of their own, in addition to our promises,” she said.

Sharath Bachegowda, a Congress MLA, also emphasized the explicit mandate for Congress programs. “The Congress party won all three seats with a relatively comfortable margin in the Karnataka assembly by-elections. The people of Karnataka have made it quite evident that they approve of the government’s public amenities and the political actions we are doing. Karnataka is a state that has always opposed caste and sectarian politics, and this is evident once again,” he said.

Additionally, he denied the accusations made by the BJP against the Congress administration. “Any accusations made by the BJP are baseless. The government’s operations have been quite open and honest. “This is a huge win for the government of Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar,” Bachegowda said.
