The Gaushala, which would house 10,000 cattle, will be constructed on around 25 acres of land near Barkheda Dob, Bhopal, at a cost of Rs 10 crore. CCTV cameras, which are essential for security, will be among the many resources that the Gaushala will have.

CM Yadav emphasized that the state government was always trying to find a solution for the protection and service of cows.

“The government of Madhya Pradesh is always trying to find a solution for the protection and servicing of cows. In a post on X, CM Yadav said, “Today, I performed the Bhoomi Pujan of a high-tech Gaushala with a capacity of 10 cattle using Vedic mantras in the state capital and sought the blessings of Gau Mata.”

He also said that the high-tech gaushala will be useful in raising farmers’ incomes.

“This state-of-the-art cow shelter will not only demonstrate the government’s dedication to Gau Mata, but it will also help the local farmers earn more money. In addition to promoting, serving, and protecting cows, the Madhya Pradesh government is dedicated to the welfare of cow herders,” he added.

On the occasion, CM Yadav also launched several local development projects.

“The ‘CM Rise School’ will be established at Barkhedi-Dhob’s Sukhi Sewania Government School. Barkhedi-Dhob will be developed as an industrial sector, and Sukhi-Sewania Road will be made four-lane,” he said.

According to a state government press release, a unit will be established in the cow shelter to create organic manure and other products from cow dung and urine, and an area with space for 2000 cows has been planned for the first phase. In addition to being used, the manure produced by the device will be sold at the market.

It said that other communities in the state have plans to build high-tech cowsheds of a similar kind in the future.

In addition, the state government intends to construct nine cow shelters around the state in order to safeguard cows. According to the statement, stray animals and cows that don’t produce milk will be housed in these cow shelters.
