Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was criticized by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesman CR Kesavan on Friday for calling for Gautam Adani’s arrest after a US court indicted him in a bribery case, labeling him a “unreliable chronic liar.”

Adani Group has refuted the accusations made by the US court, calling them “baseless.”

“The main issue is that the UPA, which was led by Congress, was incredibly corrupt from 2004 to 2014.” In 2014, the Congress administration was rejected by the populace as a symbol of corruption. Since then, PM Modi has gained the public’s confidence by guaranteeing inclusive government free from corruption. He has been elected to office three times in a row for this reason. “The Congress spread hate because it doesn’t know how to deal with the Prime Minister, and Rahul Gandhi is aware of this,” Kesavan said.

In a jab at Rahul Gandhi, BJP’s Kesavan said that the company’s income had surged sixfold, exposing Rahul Gandhi in the HAL issue he brought up during the previous Lok Sabha elections.

“Rahul Gandhi has mentioned HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) during the 2019 elections, claiming that it was being undermined. He said that HAL’s rights were being taken away and that another corporate business was being given preference.
