One person died in a car accident in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir: In the Assar block region of Doda, Jammu & Kashmir, an automobile crashed, resulting in one fatality and eight injuries. The collision occurred Wednesday evening, according to the authorities. At the Government Medical College in Doda, eight wounded people were hospitalized.

“A car had an accident in the Assar block,” Tanveer, the medical superintendent at GMC Doda, informed media report. One of the nine individuals in the vehicle, Devendra, died. GMC Doda received admission for the remaining eight wounded individuals. Sanjeev Kumar and Kamaljeet, two patients who were hospitalized here, both had head injuries. The remaining patients are just slightly hurt. As of yet, we have not recommended any patients.

Shakti Raj Parihar, a BJP MLA from Doda West, visited the hospital and spoke with those who were hurt.

“Two of the injured are seriously hurt, and the other injured are in stable condition,” he said. Physicians are doing their hardest. I offer my prayers for the deceased soul. We’ll look for such vulnerable areas and, if necessary, erect crash barriers.”

Earlier, on Tuesday, a fire started in Rainawari’s Abi Gurpora neighborhood, severely damaging many buildings.

Images taken from the location revealed distraught individuals sitting among the wreckage of their homes.

Omar Abdullah, the chief minister of Jammu & Kashmir, conveyed his profound sadness over the enormous fire.

“Honourable Chief Minister Omar Abdullah (@OmarAbdullah) has expressed deep sorrow over the massive fire incident in Abi Gurpora Rainawari, which has damaged many houses and displaced several families,” the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) said in a post on X on Wednesday. MLA Tanvir Sadiq hurried to the scene as soon as he received the information to evaluate the situation and make sure the government offered all the support it could.”
