Popular singer Sonu Nigam offered prayers at Jagannath Puri temple in Odisha and said
Well-known musician Sonu Nigam claimed that he has performed many of Lord Jagannath’s songs and that his visit to the Jagannath Puri Temple in Odisha was a wonderful experience.
He also offered prayers there.
“I have sung a lot of Lord Jagannath’s bhajans,” he stated. I’ve been to the Jagannath temple twice before. I got an excellent ‘darshan’ this time, and it was a wonderful experience.”
Lord Jagannath is the object of devotion at the Jagannath Temple. It is situated in the Odishan state of Puri.
Nigam is the recipient of several honors. He has performed in Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Odia, English, Assamese, Malayalam, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, Nepali, Tulu, Maithili, and Manipuri in addition to Hindi and Kannada.
‘Hum To Chhaila Ban Gaye’ from the 1992 television series Talash marked the start of Nigam’s career.
