Assembly Elections in the Kothrud Assembly Constituency alongside my family. I urge every Maharashtra voter to cast their ballot and take part in this democratic festivity! In the Maharashtra assembly elections, my family and I cast our ballots in Pune’s Kothrud assembly seat, which is my parliamentary constituency. “I urge all Maharashtra voters to cast their ballots and actively participate in the celebration of democracy,” Mohol said on X.
In the current Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde voted earlier in the day at a Thane voting station.
The incumbent chief minister showed the journalists his tattooed finger after casting his ballot. Shinde, a four-time elected MLA from Thane’s Kopri-Pachpakhadi seat, led an uprising against Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray to become Maharashtra’s 20th Chief Minister.
Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, too emphasized the significance of voting in a democracy and called on people to cast their ballots in big numbers.
“The largest celebration of democracy is still going on,” he remarked. My family and I have already cast our ballots. Voting is both our right and our duty, thus I encourage everyone to cast a ballot in big numbers.
In a democracy, we elect a government and have expectations of it. Voting is crucial, therefore.
Devendra Fadnavis, his mother Sarita, and wife Amruta presented their tattooed fingers to the media as he cast his ballot at a Nagpur polling station.
Maharashtra registered a weak attendance of 32.18% till 1 PM, despite many calls from leaders and celebrities.
Maharashtra assembly elections are being held in a single phase, with voting starting at 7 am and ending at 6 pm. There are 288 assembly seats that are holding polls. On November 23, the votes will be tallied.
