Amit Shah criticized JMM and Congress for misleading tribals
Jharkhand: Speaking at a public gathering in the Dumka Assembly Constituency on Saturday, Home Minister Amit Shah blasted the Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for allegedly deceiving the tribal population and shielding infiltrators.
Speaking about the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), Shah gave the tribal people the assurance that its adoption will not have an impact on them. “JMM and Congress are spreading rumors in Jharkhand that tribals will face problems if UCC comes,” he added. Don’t worry, tribal brothers and sisters; UCC will not include you. UCC won’t cause you any problems.”
Shah said that a decrease in tribal territory and population had resulted from the JMM and Congress’s protection of infiltrators. He said, “Once you form the BJP government in Jharkhand, we will work to throw out every single infiltrator from here.”
“When you were fighting for Jharkhand, you were showered with bullets and lathis,” Shah said, making fun of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Jharkhand’s rights were denied by the Congress administration, and Hemant has now into the Congress’s lap to become chief minister.
Shah discussed Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s accomplishments and the government’s attempts to honor tribal idols. “Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary was yesterday. Hemant Babu objects to the installation of a statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda in Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan Chowk, he claimed.
The Home Minister went on, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared in 2021 that the anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda’s birth would be observed as ‘Tribal Pride Day.'” In addition, a committee headed by Modi is being established with the goal of making this year—which marks Birsa Munda’s 150th birthday—Tribal Pride Year.
The BJP’s contribution to the creation of Jharkhand was also commended by the Union Minister. “The work of creating Jharkhand was done by the great leader of BJP, our former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and now the work of improving Jharkhand is being done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi” , Shah said.
In order to provide security and progress to the state, the BJP leader also appealed to the people to support the party.
