Surprise Support : When a BJP MLA called Mayawati “corrupt” during a TV discussion

Surprise Support : Since splitting up, BSP leader Mayawati and SP president Akhilesh Yadav, who were dubbed “Team Bua-Bhatija” because of their alliance before to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, have hardly missed an occasion to criticize one another’s political decisions. But recently, in a rare display of support, Akhilesh sprang to his opponent’s defense when a BJP MLA referred to Mayawati as “corrupt” during a TV discussion.

The head of the SP requested that the MLA be the target of a defamation lawsuit and that the BJP take action against him. Mayawati was quick to thank Akhilesh for responding to the BJP MLA and “acknowledging the truth about her honesty”. She wrote on X, “The party is grateful for this.”

Consultation via Video

Veterans of the armed forces will soon be able to speak with physicians virtually for their health concerns, saving them the burden of traveling to physical polyclinics.

The Ministry of Defence’s Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare is spearheading this program via Central Organization ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme).

Together with ECHS, C-DAC has created the teleconsultation module, E-Sehat. Its goal is to provide medical services via organized video-based clinic consultations.

Call for Cleanliness

For the Central Public Works Department, which is in charge of maintaining all Union government offices, cleanliness begins at home. All CPWD department heads were requested to check their respective section offices at Nirman Bhawan, the organization’s headquarters, last week.

The CPWD requested that the officers make sure that every room and area under their control was “well-cleaned and no obsolete/waste material” was left “inside or outside the room” in an office document dated August 23. It mandated that any outdated goods be put up for sale first.
