Israeli soldiers attacked military installations in Tehran with a series of “precise and targeted” airstrikes
Israel: Long-simmering worries of a bigger conflict in the Middle East were rekindled when the Iranian military alluded to a potential retribution after Israeli troops executed a series of “precise and targeted” airstrikes on military facilities in Tehran.
“All options are on the launchers,” the Iran Military stated on X after posting a picture of its missiles kept at the defense camp, hinting of a new wave of airstrikes on Israel in retaliation.
Israel said that it retaliated for Tehran’s strikes on Israel earlier this month by attacking Iranian military installations early on Saturday. At least two rounds of numerous explosions occurred in the capital and at neighboring military sites over a period of more than two hours, according to Iranian media.

The Middle East has been on edge, waiting for Israel to strike back after Iran launched a volley of ballistic missiles on October 1, firing almost 200 of them toward Israel—Iran’s second direct assault on Israel in six months.
Israel Declares Attack on Iran Due to
Calling it an “Israeli response to Iran’s attacks against it,” the Israeli military claimed to have carried out “precise and targeted” airstrikes against Iranian military sites.
“The mission was accomplished and the retaliatory strike was finished,” the Israel Defense Forces stated in a statement. “Our planes made it home safely.”
In a recorded statement, IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said, “We showed today that we have the capability and the resolve to act decisively—aand we are prepared—oon offense—tto defend the State of Israel and the people of Israel.”
Iranian Forces warned by Israeli Soldiers
The Iranian military was warned by Israeli troops that attempting to retaliate against Israeli assaults in a new round of escalation would come at a “heavy price.”
“I can now confirm that we have concluded the Israeli response to Iran’s attacks against Israel. We conducted targeted and precise strikes on military targets in Iran — thwarting immediate threats to the State of Israel.”

We would have to react if the Iranian leadership made the error of starting a fresh round of escalation. “Our message is clear: There will be severe consequences for anyone who threatens the State of Israel and tries to push the region into a wider escalation,” Hagari said.
Israel said that it has a responsibility and a right to retaliate against Tehran and its allies for their actions, which have included missile strikes from Iranian territory.
Iran Effectively Defected Israeli Attack
Iran said that it used its integrated air defense systems to effectively intercept and neutralize the Israeli onslaught, causing only minor damage to a few areas.

Iran posted a video on social media saying that its air defense system had intercepted “hostile projectiles” over Tehran Province while confirming the assault.
A military spokesperson was cited by Iranian state television as stating that the explosions heard in Tehran were caused “by air defense systems responding to attempts by the Zionist regime (Israel) to attack three locations outside the city of Tehran.”
