Uttarakhand CM Dhami wishes on International Women’s Day
Dehradun: In honor of International Women’s Day, which is celebrated annually on March 8, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed the state’s citizens on Saturday, highlighting the strength of women in particular.

He said that no society or country can fully grow without the collaboration of women’s strength. In Indian culture, women are seen as guides and sources of inspiration, and Shakti is venerated.
According to the chief minister of Uttarakhand, the state administration is working hard to address the current circumstances facing women in order to provide them a brighter future. He went on to say that the Central Government and State Governments are running several programs for the benefit of women under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“The state administration has set aside thirty percent of government positions for women and thirty-three percent for cooperative societies in Uttarakhand. The state has produced one lakh Lakhpati Didi so far. By the next year, this goal is expected to rise to 2.50 lakh, Dhami said.
The Chief Minister said that by putting the Uniform Civil Code into effect, they had kept their promise to the state’s citizens. This regulation also pertains to women’s esteem and adds that skill development is bolstering the economy of women.
Greetings to all women nationwide were sent by President Droupadi Murmu in her message on the occasion of International Women’s Day. “I send my warmest regards to all sisters and daughters on this International Women’s Day,” the President’s Secretariat said in a press statement.
On Friday, the Ministry of Education commemorated International Women’s Day by gathering female staff members from various departments at its Shastri Bhawan location in New Delhi to recognize their accomplishments and exchange motivational tales.
Through an engaging discussion, the event sought to acknowledge the achievements made by women in the Ministry of Education and advance their well-being.
