“I am changing my views and promoting population now,” he said at a news conference. One of the nations that benefits the most from the demographic dividend is India. India and Indians will prosper if we can control the demographic dividend. International communities rely on us Indians to provide global services.

Naidu said that the problem is of national importance and refuted worries that it is politically driven.

“It’s not a political issue at all. One ought to be patriotic. Globally, population growth and wealth production are at odds with one another. It goes without saying that you won’t have children when your income increases. I’ll say this: IT workers, double your money, don’t have children, and have fun. That’s what everyone will think. That’s where nations throughout the world have failed.

Regarding the three-language strategy, he said, “To take advantage of global possibilities, people now need to acquire many languages. I’m giving the idea of establishing multilingual centers at each of my colleges careful thought.

His remarks coincide with the conflict between the BJP-led Center and the DMK-led Tamil Nadu over its concerns over the delimitation process.

MK Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, advised state couples to “give birth to a child immediately” on Monday in order to guarantee more representation in Parliament.

Speaking at a party worker’s son’s wedding, Stalin said that the number of MPs is determined by the population, but he would not advise delaying parenthood.

“Previously, it was used to suggest that there was no need to expedite childbirth. However, that is no longer required; therefore, we shouldn’t state that either. since it is said that the population would determine the number of MPs. More MPs and a larger population are the results. However, we have been successful in concentrating on family planning. At this point, I won’t suggest, “Don’t rush to give birth; give birth immediately.”

Stalin emphasized that there is a clear correlation between population and the number of MPs.
