Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is going to expand his cabinet before the Bihar Assembly elections
Patna: In advance of the Bihar Assembly elections, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is scheduled to appoint additional ministers from his party, the Janata Dal (United), as well as his partner, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Wednesday.

According to sources who spoke to the media report, the expansion will happen at about 4 p.m., and four additional MLAs will take up ministerial positions.
According to the sources, two MLAs from Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United) will also be sworn in as ministers.
Notably, BJP state president and Bihar Revenue Minister Dilip Jaiswal announced his resignation from his position as minister, citing the party’s “One Person, One Post” principle.
“I’m leaving my position as Revenue Minister. The party operates on the tenet of “one person, one post.” “I am grateful that I have been assigned the role of the party’s state unit by the central leadership,” Jaiswal told ANI.
On January 18, Jaiswal was named president of the BJP’s Bihar state. In light of the upcoming elections later this year, Nitish Kumar’s government may undergo more reorganization as a result of his departure.
Regarding the increase of the cabinet, Jaiswal said, “It is the prerogative of the Chief Minister.”
Nishant Kumar, the son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has asked Bihar residents to back his father in the next elections.
“Because Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has made significant progress in the state, I urge the people of Bihar to vote for him. 43 seats were donated the last time. According to Nishant Kumar, “the public should make sure that we win more seats in the elections so that we can continue the pace of development.”
He also urged JD (U) employees to share with the people of Bihar the policies and accomplishments of Nitish Kumar during the last 19 years.
