The current EB-5 immigrant investment visa program will be replaced with the gold card, according to a CNN story that quoted Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.

“They’ll have to go through vetting, of course,” the Commerce Secretary was quoted as saying in the CNN story. “To make sure they’re wonderful world-class global citizens.” Lutnick went on.

In addition to signing an executive order looking into the copper business and fielding questions on a range of subjects, Trump made the announcement at a media availability in the Oval Office.

He predicted that millions may be sold and said that sales of the gold cards will start in around two weeks. “From the legal standpoint, it’s totally legal to do,” he said.

Trump said, “Yes, maybe,” in response to a question about whether Russian billionaires would be able to purchase the cards. According to the CNN article, “I know some Russian oligarchs who are really nice people.”

“I’m just admiring it as I look at it,” Trump stated in reference to a map of the recently renamed Gulf of America during the occasion. Even if I’m sobbing, I don’t want you to say, “Trump collapsed and began to cry.”

Trump continued his tirade, denouncing the Associated Press as “radical left.”

“They seem to me to be radical left. They’re third-rate reporters, in my opinion. We’re not treated decently by them,” he remarked.

The administration’s position on the Associated Press was previously maintained by White House Press Secretary Karoline Levitt, who said that challenging the US President is a privilege rather than a legal right. Throughout the briefing, Trump was seen handing out leaflets that said, “Trump was right about everything.”

“Observe. Do you see that? In every way, Trump was correct. He asked if anybody wanted one.
