Hennur police arrested a man who stole a mobile phone from an electronics shop in Kalyan Nagar
Hennur: A guy who stole cell phones from an electronics store in Kalyan Nagar was taken into custody by Hennur Police. Eleven stolen cell phones and a two-wheeler used in the crime were recovered when the culprit was caught on February 1st in the vicinity of the Tin Factory in KR Puram.

The estimated total worth of the confiscated goods is Rs 4.75 lakh. On February 2, the accused appeared in court and was remanded to five days of police prison. On February 6, he was taken into judicial detention after more inquiry.
The police claim that the business owner shut his establishment at night on December 6, 2024, which is when the theft occurred. When he returned the next day, he discovered that 14 different brands of cell phones had been taken by unknown persons who had gotten in via the rear door.
On December 8, a case was filed at the Hennur Police Station, and an investigation was started.
On February 1, police arrested a suspect near the Tin Factory in KR Puram after following many leads.
A stolen cell phone and a two-wheeler were discovered in the accused’s hands. He confessed to the crime during questioning and said that he had kept the pilfered phones at his home in Netravati Layout, Udayanagar. Ten further cell phones were found during a police search on February 4.
According to Hennur Police, the suspects were found in possession of 11 cell phones and a two-wheeler used in the crime, totaling Rs 4.75 lakh.
