Indian-origin leader Vivek Ramaswamy announces his candidacy for the post of next governor of Ohio
Ohio: Republican leader and Indian-origin businessman Vivek Ramaswamy has declared his intention to run for governor of Ohio in the future. At a rally, Ramaswamy said, “I am honored to announce my candidacy to serve as the next governor of the state of Ohio.” Ohio’s greatest days are yet to come, Ramaswamy, a fervent admirer of US President Donald Trump, said.

“Our belief in America is being revived by President Trump. Here at home, we need a leader who can rekindle our faith in Ohio. I am thus proud to declare today that I am a candidate for governor of a magnificent state in the center of the greatest country in the world, the state where I was born and raised, where Apurva and I now raise our two kids, and a place whose finest years are yet to come. “I am honored to declare my candidacy for the position of Ohio’s next governor,” he stated.
Ramaswamy shared his goal of making Ohio a global leader in every field and giving its people a sense of empowerment in a cutthroat environment.
“I will guide Ohio to become the best state in the nation for launching and expanding a new company. Ohio will be the best state in the nation to raise a young family under my leadership. I will guide Ohio to become the nation’s best state for providing our children with top-notch instruction in reading, writing, arithmetic, critical thinking, and physical education. “I will guide Ohio to become the nation’s best state in providing our children with the tools they need to view themselves as winners rather than victims in a cutthroat global economy,” he said.
Ramaswamy wanted to establish Ohio as a leading state in the US in every industry, from semiconductors to aerospace.
“Instead of apologizing, we will guide Ohio to become the nation’s leading state in embracing capitalism and meritocracy. We will lead Ohio to become the nation’s leading state in combating excessive bureaucracy and red tape. Ohio will become the nation’s leading state, setting the standard for industries ranging from aerospace to semiconductors. Take a look at our current situation. “Guys, how about this company?” he said.
Ramaswamy said his goal is to establish Ohio as a premier location, drawing in those who may have otherwise relocated to Florida or Texas.
“An aerospace company in the center of Butler County is driving us forward, all the way to artificial intelligence and other future-related fields. I love it.” Instead of Florida and Texas, I will lead Ohio to become the nation’s most popular state, attracting patriots from all across the country. “I will guide Ohio to become the nation’s premier state,” he said.
Originally scheduled to co-lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) with Elon Musk, Ramaswamy withdrew from the role. Just 69 days after being named the team’s co-head, Ramaswamy resigned from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) on January 23. According to a story, the Tesla CEO was the one who wanted him “out” of the team.
According to Politico, which cited three individuals with Elon Musk’s approval, the billionaire recently expressed his desire for Ramaswamy to leave DOGE.
Ramaswamy said he will not co-lead DOGE only hours after Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States.
The main reason’ why some Republicans were upset with Ramaswamy, the paper said, was his remarks about X during a debate on H-1B visas.
The leader of Indian descent criticized American society in December of last year, claiming that IT businesses employ foreigners because of a culture that “venerates mediocrity over excellence.”
“They wanted him out before the tweet—but kicked him to the curb when that came out,” Politico was informed by someone who knew him well.
