Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan outlines party’s vision for Assembly session starting today
Amaravathi: Pawan Kalyan, the head of the Jana Sena Party and the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, described the party’s strategy for the Assembly session that begins today. He placed a strong focus on the guidelines and tactics that will be used throughout the session.

He presided over Sunday’s Jana Sena Legislature Party gathering. Today marks the start of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature’s budget session.
The meeting was attended by MPs, MLCs, MLAs, and Ministers Nadendla Manohar and Kandula Durgesh. Minister Durgesh, Mandali Buddha Prasad, and senior MLA Konathala Ramakrishna discussed their experiences in the legislature.
Members attended a luncheon sponsored by Pawan Kalyan. He spoke with each member individually, noting concerns in their communities. The members were given directives by the Deputy Chief Minister and the Party President.
“Let’s represent the people in the Assembly,” he urged. Talk about public concerns and goals in the legislature. Debates need active participation from members. Be respectful in your speech and words. Steer clear of YSRCP rhetoric.
In the Assembly budget sessions, Pawan Kalyan underlined that the Jana Sena Party should represent the interests of the general public. In order to address public concerns, ambitions, and welfare problems, he asked MLAs and MLCs to actively engage in talks. He emphasized the need for maintaining parliamentary decorum and respect while making sure that the Assembly had fruitful discussions.
“Every word in the legislature has weight,” he stated. Members are required to use polite language and be careful with their word choice. He specifically forbade the use of disparaging remarks.
“YSRCP members in the Assembly have used foul language and behaved in ways that the public has seen. He said that they often use mudslinging techniques in an effort to bring others down to their level.
Members were instructed by Pawan Kalyan to maintain their composure, refrain from using derogatory words in retaliation, and react with dignity when necessary.
Given that many Jana Sena lawmakers are new MLAs, he advised them to get advice on how to behave in the Assembly from seasoned figures like Nadendla Manohar, Konathala Ramakrishna, Mandali Buddha Prasad, and Kandula Durgesh.
Every conversation in the Assembly is important, he said, and MLAs should bring up public concerns during Question Hour and Zero Hour as well as participate in other pertinent discussions. In order to learn more about legislative processes and best practices, members were encouraged to engage with top executives.
“Every MLA is required to do a complete budget analysis, comprehending the sources of income, expenditures, departmental distributions, and state obligations. During the party meeting, Pawan Kalyan said that new members should speak with senior leaders if they have any questions.
According to him, lawmakers need to compile data on regional issues and bring them to the attention of the Assembly. “Issues that affect multiple constituencies should be consolidated to ensure broader public impact,” he said. MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and ministers attended the meeting.
