Union Minister Harsh Malhotra told the media report that the BJP would try to assist the people of Delhi and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it possible for women to have leadership roles.

“PM Narendra Modi has enabled women empowerment in Delhi… Our government will work for the people of Delhi, considering the gravity of the mandate that they have given to the BJP in Delhi elections,” he said.
Referring to the new chief minister, BJP leader Tarun Chugh described it as a “historic occasion” that a “normal worker” of the party was given the chance to rule.

“This is a historic occasion…People in large numbers witnessed the swearing-in ceremony…A normal worker of the party has been given the responsibility to govern Delhi…Delhi will play a major role in fulfilling PM Modi’s resolve of ‘Viksit Bharat’,” Chugh told ANI, adding that the city would aid in achieving the vision of “Viksit Bharat.”

Vijay Kumar Sinha, the deputy chief minister of Bihar, described the BJP’s win as a “national victory” as well, highlighting the feelings of the country.

“Delhi’s victory is the nation’s victory. This is an expression of the sentiments of the nation. PM Modi has made a woman the Chief Minister, she is experienced. He does what he says. Women empowerment can be clearly seen here. Arvind Kejriwal was calling her (Atishi) a temporary CM but PM Modi made a permanent CM as a sign of women empowerment,” he stated.

The ladies of the country’s capital are likewise thrilled about the new chief minister, according to BJP MP Ravi Kishan, who said, “Everyone in the entire nation is extremely proud and excited, especially the women.”

Pawan Kalyan, the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and an ally of the NDA, explained how the election victory in Delhi demonstrates the might of the coalition and the country.

“It is not just about the strength of the NDA but also about strengthening the nation through NDA under the leadership of PM Modi. The success of Delhi is a historic achievement after 27 years. All the best to PM Modi and the Delhi CM,” he said to reporters.
