Assam Governor Laxman Prasad Acharya interacts with farmers, artisans, weavers and entrepreneurs at CIT in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: At the Central Institute of Technology (CIT) in Kokrajhar, Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya spoke with farmers, craftspeople, weavers, and business owners.

Governor Acharya praised the people for their outstanding work in organic farming, weaving, and business. According to a news release from the Assam Governor’s office, he said that their contribution to the success of agriculture and related industries is crucial to the economic growth of Assam.

The Governor emphasized India’s rich history and noted that farmers, weavers, craftsmen, and businesspeople have played a remarkable role in helping the state and Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) become self-sufficient.

In order to help Assam and BTR establish a place in the nation’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, he also requested that they serve as role models for the next generation of business owners.

Governor Acharya further emphasized how the central government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, works tirelessly with the state and council governments to provide farmers with a range of welfare programs.

He encouraged everyone to make the most of their efforts in order to become industry leaders. He emphasized that organic and methodical farming had the ability to turn farmers into job creators and promoted sustainable agriculture techniques.

According to the press release, he urged everyone to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat, calling it an inspiration that provides fresh concepts to raise people’s quality of life.

The Governor ceremoniously gave the District Commissioner of Kokrajhar, who is in charge of the Governor Assam Amrit Sarovar Sadbhavna Sangat Protsahan Yojana, vital items as part of the occasion.
