Before the visit of PM Narendra Modi to Bihar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary held an important meeting with the state ministers

Patna: In a pivotal meeting with state ministers ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s planned visit to Bihar on February 24, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary affirmed that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and state ministers will welcome the Prime Minister together.

“On February 24, Prime Minister Modi will visit Bihar. The Prime Minister will be welcomed by the NDA and our ministers together,” Choudhary said.

‘Nalanda: How it Changed the World’ was introduced by Samrat Chaudhary earlier on Saturday at the sixth Grand Trunk Road Initiatives event in Patna.

The author-diplomat Abhay K expressed his excitement at reading the book and learning from the knowledge of Nalanda, which was and is the pride of Bihar, in his speech on the occasion.

According to Abhay K, he is thrilled that his book about Nalanda is being released in his own Bihar, which is literally called after Vihar, since there used to be a large number of Buddhist monasteries there.

He went on to say, “I am from Nalanda, and I have been very happy and satisfied creating this book on Nalanda. My own research for the book has taught me a lot about Nalanda. The book emphasizes how Nalanda shaped our contemporary reality. Everyone will get something from reading this book, I’m sure.

“Abhay K has written a wonderfully accessible introduction to early India’s most important center of philosophy and learning, the great monastery-university of Nalanda,” said renowned historian William Dalrymple in his commentary on the book. Abhay’s journey is set against the sultry backdrop of early Buddhism’s heyday, showcasing Nalanda’s brilliant libraries, academics, teachings, beliefs, and, lastly, its worldwide impact. Abhay K’s Nalanda, which is lyrical, erudite, and sympathetic, bridges a significant gap and merits widespread reading.
